I am really excited for this upcoming new year! New Year's is a celebration about what we have accomplished, and what is yet to be accomplished. Here are some resoultions that I am making, and hopefully I can fufill them:

1. Make dreams a reality.
2. Be more organized.
3. Have more fun.
4. Take more risks.
5. Create more.
6. Laugh more.
7. Be more spontaneous.
8. Empower my creativity.
9. Increase my knowledge

Christmas Time

Christmas is my FAVORITE time of the year! Christmas to me, means being surrounded by family, friends, joyous music, and delicious food. I love the notion of a holiday centered around Jesus Christ. I am so thankful for the gospel in my life, and the happiness it has brought me. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY! LETS CELEBRATE AND GIVE SHPANKS!

P.S. Santa, if you read this, I want an invisibility cloak for Christmas :)

Snowed in.

IT SNOWED! I love the snow oh so much! While it was snowing I hung some twinkle lights, drank some dank hot chocolate, listened to sufjan :) AND tried to refresh my old knitting skills(warning: youtube is NOT a good teacher).

Anywho, these next two weeks I will be consumed with my studies in Biology, Potions, Math, and skiing. I really hope that I can ACE all my finals...I can't believe Elise is getting married, I am so HAPPY for her and Ben :) I just know their first offspring will be a lil' ginger and they will name it Sarecca, I know this because I'm always right(you know I am Elise, don't deny my skillz).

SoooOoo the other day I was walking downtown AND I thought I was going crAzy because I saw a lady walking an invisible dog, pshh yeah... an INVISIBLE DAWG!
SO i rushed off and told a lot of people and no one believed me, and erryone thought I had some surrious mental issues, BUT ohhhhhhhhhhhoooooooohoooo TAKE A LOOK AT THIS LIL NUGGET OF GOLD:

Do you know all of those little things that you need to get done, but they don't...and then they accumulate into a HUGE LIST of tiny things to get done?

Well, I checked that huge list of tiny things off and it feels goood!

I want Thanksgiving! I particularly like the day after Thanksgiving because that's when I can make outrageous left-over turkey sandwiches...ooohhh yeah, thats what i call the good life ;)

Love What You Do!

I have not written anything lately so here is a list of things I am thinking about:

1. The sunsets lately have been SOooOooo insane!

2. I need to practice parallel parking because I SUCK.

3. I also need to practice my Tokyo drifting.

4. Halloween is hands down one of my favorite holidays.

5. School is hard, but i love learning challenging ideas; "EMBRACE CONFUSION"

6. Snow is just around the corner, YES!!!!!!

7. I need to practice seeing the world with loving eyes, instead of scared eyes.

8. I need to be grateful for every "normal" day that I have, and love what I do!

9. I need to make a big PHAT pile of golden leaves that I can play in, and possibly do my homework in!!!! YES

Today

Today I was walking on campus and saw some guy wearing an illegally bright shirt, AND he fell off his bike haaaard. I laughed a lot; I hope he saw.

Well, school is starting on Monday and i am excited, BUT I wish that summer would've lasted a little bit longer.
I hope one of my classes is in a room like this(yeah right):

West Coast Hysteria

Every summer we travel to the West Coast to waste away the last couple weeks of summer. BUT this summer is different because instead of two weeks i am only staying 4 days...Balboa is where i go to clear my mind before the hectic school year, and this upcoming fall semester is going to be hard work. I have decided that i am going to be a Nurse, and i am so excited that i finally chose a career path that suits me; at least i hope it does.

Here is a video that reminds me of waking up with my mom at 5am and going to Crescent Cove to watch the sunrise and dig for shells.

I came across this video from Kvadrat and i thought it was intersting. This company uses various textiles to create innovative designs. The "clouds" that are created in this video fall under no category; they have the ability to be anything you want them to be.

I LOVE that it's starting to feel like summer. I can't wait to have my own place so that i can host parties...Paper lanterns are good accessories to brighten up a party!

On another note, Chairlift is bangin. I like the acoustic version of bruises because it's nice and mellow..However, the original is just as good. It takes a little bit for the song to get going but it's worth the time.
